You could use material with little tiny scissors printed on it, I wonder if that's out there already...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12093691867181289432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5049357998073579581.post-7628498684252063962010-08-26T00:01:39.979-07:002010-08-26T00:01:39.979-07:00Hi Amy

I've got a few interviewees lined up for the next few months but I've made a note that you're interested for the future.

I like the needle case! I've got those buttons from the V&A too. I can't quite bring myself to use them yet! Ideally I'd like to make a sewing themed blouse with them, as naff as that sounds!

TillyTillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05346200271671855136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5049357998073579581.post-25943218141814773072010-08-04T11:09:01.888-07:002010-08-04T11:09:01.888-07:00No worries!

My mum used to make all of mine and sister's clothes when we were kids so I never really had the need to learn - if I needed something hemming I'd scamper home to Mum brandishing the garment in one hand and bribery chocloate in the other!
I've been looking at your blog and it's inspired me to dig out my sewing machine and get over my fear of breaking it! I love most crafts, so I'm quite excited at learning a new skill (I dunno why I did zoology - I'm far more creative than scientific!)Laineyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02533560097719261632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5049357998073579581.post-70114091076938773592010-08-02T12:47:00.623-07:002010-08-02T12:47:00.623-07:00Ooo, I've not heard of that, it sounds amazing...Ooo, I've not heard of that, it sounds amazing! I'll definitely be googling it, thanks Elaine!

I didn't realise you were into sewing? xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12093691867181289432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5049357998073579581.post-77815809203577125822010-08-02T05:18:08.796-07:002010-08-02T05:18:08.796-07:00You've probably already heard of it/buy it, bu...You've probably already heard of it/buy it, but 'Cloth' magazine sounds ideal for you! It's full of ideas for reusing fabric or revamping clothes. Plus as a regular feature at the end it has basic machine sewing tips, which I've found pretty handy! I'm not sure about how widely it's stocked, but I can look up the stockists for you if you want?
ElaineLaineyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02533560097719261632noreply@blogger.com
